Soapy Sam's Car Wash

Andrew Kinnard 3 months ago

Nicely run, clean place with free vacuums (for customers). The wash is old school spinning cloth type setup with cars being dragged through with tractive rails. Cars with wheel and tire setups that curb the rim before tire contactay not want to use this wash...I don't really know (I've always avoided having wheel/tires like that). There is or at least used to be a small pre-wash sprayer for "bug release" which was helpful because the wash doesn't sufficiently clean a really dirty vehicle, even with the top level wash options. Some kind of pre-soak helps with that, but IIRC the "bug release" station was broken or removed the last time I went to use it. It's a great location, hardly ever involves a long wait to get in, and is reasonably priced.

Customer service is PHENOMENAL. I come to the granger location on the regular with no issues. There was one time where it was busy and I noticed it didn't rinse all the soap off my trunk but Customer service answered on the first ring and got me a free rewash right then and there to fix the issue :) thanks Soapy Sam's!

Overpriced and doesn't dry the car very well. Bring your own towels. Also, the tire shine doesn't cover the whole tire.

Ripped the side mirror off my truck and got put in contact with there lawyer. After months of trying to get a replacement mirror they sent me a used broken mirror. I was able to get them to return it, and to send me a new one. In which they sent me the cheapest Chinese aftermarket mirror they could have possibly found. I expressed my frustration and gave the mirror back. Giving up I ordered the correct mirror in hopes they would reimburse me. It has been two months and still no reimbursement. AWFUL TO WORK WITH, IF THEY BRAKE YOUR VEHICLE EXPECT A BAD TIME.

Car was still horribly dirty after. Reached out and they responded to insult me. Yes my car was in neutral and as if I can't see a giant green go sign and know when to exit a carwash. Paid $22 For a wash yesterday including my tires which came out dirtier then before I went in. Once again emailed and no response and they don't answer the phone either. Note to add this is my second experience that looks this bad they never even responded the first time. I decided to be a glutton for punishment and give them a second chance since they had "claimed" an upgrade to their equipment. Not at all. He also failed to mention they had an employee power washing the parking lot which made it impossible to even get out and look at your car upon exiting.
